We use our favorite iCloud for backup, but somehow you forgot to turn on the backup or out of the storage. And here comes the iOS backup on your computer for rescue.
Here is a quick walkthrough on how to extract the Photos / Video from iOS backup.

Step 2 Locating the backup folder, usually you can select the backup and click “Reveal in the Finder” to get the correct location. (Remember the long string of ID as it’s an identifier of the specific device)
Step 3 Now run the analyzing process by select the folder.
Step 4 After scanning finished, you will see lots of sections. The more important one would be “CameraRollDomain”, these are all the raw content of your media.
Step 5 After examining if this is the data you want, you can safely triggering the “Extract All” action. Note depending on your media size, the process might take longer and consume disk usage.
